New Games that i download will not open.

I can only play League of Legends right now, because it is the only game that can actually open. I've had it for a long time, but i also downloaded Need For Speed: World, Maplestory, And Dawngate, and i can't actually get into the game. ( I dont really think you need the next information.)When i clicked on Need for Speed, it showed that it was opening, but nothing happened. Maplestory started up, i can see the patch is finished, and when i click play, it shows that is opening up then doesnt open. And dawngate just says Dawngate has stopped working. What the prob? I have Norton Internet Security by the way. I uninstalled and the problem persisted.

Actually, to assist we'd need as much info as possible.

When you try to run NFS, what happens exactly? Nothing? Anything in Task Manager? Any error messages?
Possibly a corrupt install?

Does this happen with any other applications?
