New gaming build, buget £2000, help needed!

So… I’m looking for help with a new gaming rig build. This PC will live in the corner of my lounge and will be connected to my projector for couch based gaming. I’d like a small form case if possible as I’d like a subtle low foot print approach. Prefer an elegant subtle case.

Im looking for help finding that sweet spot between paying through the nose for components I don’t need and having an underpowered rig that I am disappointed with.

I’m willing to spend £2000 if needs be but I cant imagine I’ll need to spend that much based on what I want to achieve.

You could get a PC for half your budget. There's really no need to spend £2,000 for 1080p gaming.

I choose the I7 only because it will be more future proof from an I5 but if that stuff doesn't matter to you you can go with an I5.

I choose the 1070 because it is a overkill for 1080p and will be able to run all games at 60+ fps for at least 3 years ( and the 1080 will be a waste of money for 1080p)
