Hello,

Please assist me in putting together a reasonable priced PC gaming rig. I was looking around 1k if a little less that be nice but 1k would be the most I would want to invest (unless there is something greater in this gaming world I might miss for not going with a 5k build). I would love to build this PC arond the fact that the 1070 or 1080's will drop in price over the next few weeks. Sorry if I am wrong with this info but I think new ones are coming out.

That is the only part I really want in the PC due to the fact it will run games for the next 2 too 3 years at pretty decent settings. All other parts I am open too if anyone could give me some ideas to build around this GPU that would be great.

I don't really have exact games I would play but would really love to have a rig that can play some at good FPS whenever somethings does come that will just blow me away. (I hope it's soon, last one was WOW 2004)

Thank you for your time.

Hello,

Thank you for both options here, I was wondering if a i5 is enough power for this type of build? I only ask that due to the GPU being so much greater in this set up. Honestly never heard of the RAM that you both picked which is interesting. (If both agree then it must be reliable)

Both motherboards are less expensive as well, will that impact the performance much?

Would you mind explaining the difference between the two video cards: 1070 VS 1080?

Thank you

The 8400 will probably give you a few more frames for gaming. The ryzen is a more all around CPU. If you aren't going to overclock the ryzen then the 8400 is probably best. Team group makes good memory, I can recommend some,Gskill if you rather use that. RAM companies assemble the RAM, the actual memory is made by hynix or,samsung

Yes please, how much would the GSkull go for?

I will go with Intel, but does it matter much between the 1070 to the 1070ti or the 1080? Or if you have other options that be great.

Any chance you could advise what a rig like this might run for FPS for a game like Fortnite? Or WOW to not be so extreme?

Thank you

Here you go, its just $60 to go from a 1070 to 1080. I would buy the 1080, it may be overkill now but will be better long term.
