New gaming build won't turn on

I have just built my new gaming pc and as I tried to power it up nothing happened. There is a orange light showing up on the motherboard so I guess that shows that it is recieving power.
The parts I am using is:
I7-8700k
Asus strix z270h gaming
Gtx 1050ti
Nzxt kraken x62 280mm
Corsair vengeance 2x8 gb
Evga 650w GQ semi modular
I have not yet tried taking it all apart yet but I have unplugged every wire and put it all back in to make sure everything was plugged in correctly and in the right place but still nothing

The I7 8700K is not compatible with your Z270 motherboard.

You need a Z370 motherboard (300 Series chipset).
