I am looking to build a new gaming system for under $1000 with monitor. I already have a case but I will need everything else. I am not picky on AMD vs. Intel or AMD vs. Nvidia just want the best price to performance machine I can get.

A note keep in mind OP, those cards are rather long, make sure that your case have space for it, with supports for ~11-12" cards.

I recommend suggesting a PSU that is actually compatible with the build 😉

As long as it's a decent mid tower case it will fit any atx psu, but the most important part is to make sure it fits the cooler and the cards.
Included the monitor, didn't see that, my bad.

The problem with that PSU is that it's not compatible with that graphics card. It doesn't have enough PCIe connectors. I don't have a good feeling about it's power delivery either, but I think that's just me being overly paranoid.

Oh, it was the 530W that i had in mind, i noticed it listed the 430W one, it was a mistake, the psu intended was the 530W one, though, i listed that one for price estimate, but i recommend the xfx 550 core edition in ncix us and other stuff there too.

Okay, the 530W model should be fine and the XFX 550W should be great. I'll bring up Rosewill's Tachyon 80+ Platinum as a better alternative to the XFX 550W model at current pricing thanks to Newegg's combo deal with it and the i5 CPUs bringing it's price down to about $75.

Otherwise, I think that your choices are good, although I'd argue the Gigabyte WindForce X3 7950 over that Sapphire model.

That case fits any atx psu and the cm hyper 212 evo, but for gfx cards only up to 10.6", so i don't recommend getting the 7950 or the 7970, since it's more than that.

^ both are about the same price as the sapphire, the sapphire is more than 10.5/10.6".

I recommend the msi twinfrozer of those two.
