These are the following components I am looking to use to build my first gaming which will be a micro ATX machine. I am unsure whether to build a micro or mini as a micro will allow for support for future SLI, Crossfire example.

Just to note, I am not looking to overclock.

Intel Core i5 4570 Quad Core (Haswell)

AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB Graphics Card

Gigabyte H87M-HD3 Motherboard

8GB Corsair Vengenance DDR3 1600MHz RAM

500GB Western Digital Black Hard Drive

Fractal Core 1000 case

XFX 550W

Do you think this will be a good gaming machine and future proof for BF4 etc?

Can you reccomend any improvements I can make to this build such as a different motherboard?

And finally is the case any good and will all the components fit?

Thank You

I think you built the as good as it gets build for the price. (in US) You realized that you could add a SSD but that'd add $100 so you went Black HDD..nice. It's solid, but if you want to play BF4 (which we still don't know the graphic details yet) then I'd suggest bumping the 7870 for a 760.
