Hello everyone, i'm building my own pc atm. Would do you guys think? It's for high end gaming, currently 1080p going into 4k gaming in the future.

Samsung 850 pro 500gb
Msi gaming 5 z97
Hyperx Fury 16gb 1866
Corsair rmi 850w power supply
i5 4690k (going to OC)
x2 Eclipse IV CPU cooler
GTX 980ti

Any thoughts on the current build? And any upgrade recommendations? And is a OC i5 4690k ok for gaming?

That is a very good build I believe. The i5 4690k is definitely good for gaming, but the new skylake cpu's came out, but you won't see an increase in gaming yet. If you want a more future proof cpu (your i5 4690k is already future proof though) The 980 ti is perfect for 1440-, but for 4k, I think you may need to scale back some of the graphical settings on some games. If I'm wrong, someone correct me!
I would also get a bigger Hard drive, atleast a 1tb hard drive, and a SSD for your OS and games.
Also, I forgot to mention, this card can definitely do 1440p maxed out on all games.
