and as for ssd, i go for ssd.userbenchmark.com for real world user benchmarks and the premium is better. but even so if op is not looking for bragging rights and benchmark scores, it makes little difference 😉

Yeah, thing is its a 50 50 shot whether you get a new or old one, plus they stopped making them about a month ago afaik, since it is slowly being replaced by the 200 series and 7xxx lineup.
