New gaming computer and SSD won't get detected

Built my first gaming PC and I am trying to install an OS system from a USB stick but on the menu it says "We couldn't find any drives. To get a storage driver. Click load drivery." I built it with a Crucial 1000 GB SATA M.2 so it goes onto the motherboard itself but I could find any use for my SATA Cables from my PSU to go anywhere. Is this the problem?

Actually I fixed it. Turns out I had the SSD in the wrong slot
