Hey guys i recently bought some components to build a new gaming pc and it all seems fine until i start to play games, every time i play any game i get these multi colored squares on my screen and it crashes, the cpu fan stops but all other fans keep sppining.

I have a ryzen 5 1400,
MSI B350M Mortar Artic AM4,
Rx 570 gaming 4gb,
2x4gb 2400 ram
Cx430w ps,
1 rear fan and 2 front fans.

Please help me and tank you.

I think your right. The psu doesnt have the efficiency. I believe its a bronze rated. Maybe try a diferent card that uses less power ?

is the bios updated ? what are temps on cpu ? Plug cpu fan in other header and disable that header so you dont get fan error. Make sure you applied thermal paste correctly. I dont like the pea method personally i take a credit card and make a nice thin layer without spilling any off the edge.

Widnows doesnt update bios but i would get you cpu fan spinning. If your not confident in your trouble shooting abilitys i would say the motherboard is bad and send it back. RMA

About bios you need to go to msi site https://us.msi.com/Motherboards/ find your mother board. You need to download the newest bios. you need to unzip the file put it on a usb. Than you restartyou pc pressing delete button. Go to flashbios utility go to your usb and find the file with the newest bios number
