New gaming laptop low FPS

Hey, I just bought a new gaming laptop: GE70 2PC APACHE, and I have been getting some problems while playing games, or basically they are unplayable with low FPS. The laptop is a GAMING laptop, so found it odd that it ran games on 20-30 FPS. Any help is appreciated. Don´t know if I wrote this under the wrong category or whatever, so tell me if I have.

make sure its using the dedicated video card and not the intel hd graphics.

First off, what games are you playing.
With that laptop, you might want to lower your graphic settings a bit, especially in games like BF4 and suck.
I also recommend playing while plugged in and disable all power saving in Windows.

The actual performance you get will depend on the graphic settings and the game itself. Below is a link to some benchmarks of the GTX 860m

There are not that many games benchmarked, but hopefully there is one or two that you play which are part of that list. But regardless, depending on the game itself when running full resolution and ultra settings performance can vary between 15.4 FPS (X-Plane 10.25) to 201.6 FPS (FIFA 2014).

I play games like League of Legends, where I only get around 40 fps on the lowest settings, which is to be honest, just ridiculously bad. I also play Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, where the response time is really just awful, and it kinda looks like theres an after image when I move around.

Thanks for your answer. I checked the games out, and I don't play any of them. However, the games listed are very similar, for example a lot of games like Skyrim, but as I said to the other user who answered, they just don´t run very well on my laptop. After images and pretty long delays in the game.
