New Gaming monitor!

I have a ASUS VP247H-P Black 23.6" 1ms (GTG) HDMI Widescreen LED Backlight LCD Monitor coming in got it on sale on newegg! I am currently using a 32inch 720p flatscreen tv. I was wondering when i begin useing this monitor will i get better FPS in games or will i get worse and if i will get worse fps appox. how much worse should i expect?

You will get worse FPS as 1080p is higher quality than 720p. This is unless you set the monitor to 720p. Nearly half depending on the game. By the way I have the same monitor and it is great.
