New Gaming/Multimedia Build $1200

Sep 14, 2011
Hey yall, its been a long time since i was last in the PC gaming world. I think the last time was right before the PS3 came out and switched to console gaming for about 5 years. Well, now I've decided to split my time between PS3 and PC gaming. So here are the specs for my build that will also start to replace the ps3 as the main multimedia machine. Note that i will add a Blu-Ray drive later.

Any comments and suggestions to improve or cost cut would be much appreciated.

So I'm going to be running this all through an HDMI cable to my Denon 1909 Receiver hooked up to a 5.1 surround and Sony KDL55hx800 Led 3dtv. Think it's possible to get 720p 3d max settings with this setup?

Oh i have a question, since I'm running Crossfire, is it possible to have one card output stereo 3d video, and another output TrueHD/DTS-HD etc. Point of that is because my receiver is 1.3, but I don't want to upgrade that for awhile.

Good point on the mobo, however the ram is essentially the same price for me as amazon does not charge me sales tax so it's a flat $53 shipped to my door in 2 days with prime.

How about this mobo?
