Hey guys, I'm currently putting together a build for my brother. I've got mostly everything chosen and just need some advice/suggestions on what I've got together :) It has been a few years since I've built a PC so I am a little out of the loop!

Specs
Case
- Corsair 110R Tempered Glass
CPU - Ryzen 3 3200G
Cooler - Hydro Series H45 Liquid CPU Cooler
Motherboard - ASUS TUF B450 Gaming Plus
Graphics Card - XFX Radeon RX 570 8GB
Memory - Corsair Vengeance Low Profile DDR3 (1600) 16GB (4x4GB) - will remove this from my pre-existing system and put it in this new build.
Storage - 256GB Samsung PM981 M.2 (2280)
PSU - Corsair CX550
Monitor - ASUS VP248H 24" Full HD Adaptive Sync 1ms 75Hz Gaming Monitor or Acer 24" K242H Full HD 1ms Gaming Monitor

Info
I'm from the UK
Budget is around £600
60Hz/75hz 24" 1080p monitor required
Mainly used for Gaming and coursework (Fortnite, Apex, Ark Survival, etc)

Buying in around a week or two
Can use any UK based website to purchase
Bought an OS

Thanks in advance! :D

Solution
Dump the AIO, absolutely not needed and the budget could be used for a better CPU. Also your DDR3 memory will not work with AMD Ryzen or any new platform as they require DDR4.

I'd get a good air cooler and move that money for a better video card such as a 580/590. You will definitely need more storage if you are not transferring drives from an old computer. 256 will fill up extremely fast. Might want to get an RM550 PSU instead.

The motherboard you have uses DDR4 memory, you chose DDR3. You will be fine with just getting 2x8GB sticks in a dual channel pair.

Appreciate it, I'll switch to DDR4, totally overlooked that.

Thank you, would it not be better to use the video card I included as it has 8GB of memory and is the exact same price as the 4GB version you have provided. That Mamba case actually does look pretty cool so I'm sure he'll like that, and for the price that's much better!

Agreed with @WildCard999 above:

You have DDR3 RAM going onto a DDR4 board, so you'll need new RAM regardless. Let alone the fact that running 4 RAM modules in a dual channel board can actually hinder performance.

That and the Intel 660p is much better value.
The CX is cheaper, but currently as shown above the TX which is better is a minimal price increase.

Totally overlooked that thank you for clarifying, I'll switch to 2x8GB sticks at DDR4.

Appreciate the help guys!

Okay brill, I have also noticed you have listed a Micro-ATX board, an ATX board would be preferred alongside the ATX case, which one would you suggest?

In replacement of the H45, should I just use the stock cooler which arrives with the CPU?
Why? The ATX boards don't outperform the MATX ones and the budget fits. Really the only big advantage of ATX boards is some more PCI/E/SATA connections and possibly better vrms.

If it must be ATX/Mid Tower then this.

The stock cooler is plenty to keep it cool and will support a moderate overclock (possibly around 3.7-3.8).
