[SOLVED] New Gaming PC Build. Thoughts?

I’m building a whole new computer, specifically made for gaming I was curious to see what you guys think?

GPU- GeForce RTX RGB 2070 -£515
CPU- i7 8700k £360
Ram- Corsair vengeance RGB DDR4 3200mhz- £89.99
Motherboard- MSI Z390 Gaming pro carbon ATX £170
Corsair hydro cooler 100i RGB £119.98
Power supply: Corsair 650w- £96.99
Tower (I’m not too sure yet)

I also have a question, does that motherboard supposed the SSD sticks if so I was looking at: W blue 3D 1TB £87.99.

Let me know what you guys think in terms of if I can do better for the price all help is much appreciated.

Model for your Corsair PSU? Your build looks good. you should be able to slap them together inside a Corsair 220T chassis to keep it an all Corsair affair. For an SSD, you should look at a Corsair M.2 drive or a 2.5" form factor Adata or Samsung unit.

What is your system budget? That price, for a regular 2070 is way too high. The 2060s is just as fast, if not faster, not to mention the 5700xt. Truthfully, that CPU's price/performance is terrible too.

The model is CP-9020178 80 plus gold 650W. Also will the Corsair M.2 be compatible with the motherboard mate?

I don’t actually have a set budget but somewhere between £1200-£1500 would be great. I’m looking to play some high end games running in maxed settings with no problem such as Dayz, escape from tarlove.

That build looks good. But I’m not a fan of the AMD processors I’ve got nothing against it’s just occasionally I’ll be using FL studio, and other pieces of software which is why I picked intel, forgot to mention that. Also, I’m trying to keep the PC to a minimum in terms of noise but everything else about that build looks superb.

At this point in time you shouldn't shop with your "heart" or "feelings". Make your choice for the best system you can get based on the data.

After researching the 3700 I think I’m going with your build. Will this build be able to run any game I throw at it maxed out 1080p.

• What is your monitor's refresh rate?
• Does your monitor have FreeSync, GSync, or neither?
  • If FreeSync, what is the FreeSync range, and does it have LFC (Low Framerate Compensation)?
• If you don't know any of that, the monitor's exact brand and model number would be very helpful.

I currently have 2 VN247s but I’m upgrading to a 32’ Asus XG32VQ and I’ll hopefully upgrade the 2 monitors.

That monitor is supposed to be Gsync compatible so it should work with newer Nvidia gpu's.

Yeah just game on one and the other for browsing. I’ll be running a 2080 RTX gigabyte and also a AMD Ryzen 7 3700x

Yeah, an RTX 2080 would be pretty good for 2560x1440. And, with FreeSync, it'll automatically adjust the refresh rate to work smoothly if your frame rates vary.
