Question New Gaming PC for my son, any instructions guys?

Hey my friends,
I got my son his first new PC, a gaming PC mainly to let him enjoy Oculus link games, he will surely try some PC games too.
He's only played like Minecraft but wants to try some more advanced games, he's nearly 16 so "graphic" games are ok.
He mentioned like Resident Evil and Mortal Combat, my question is I haven't set up a new PC in 20 years, what do I need to
know? We also got him a new 27" monitor 144hz . It came with the keyboard/mouse. This is the PC, the best I could afford, do
I need any accessories, more memory etc. Thanks ALL
