I got my new pc almost 2 months ago and was bit unsatisfied with the amount of fps that I'm getting in every single game Before buying a new pc i had an older one which had a amd fx4350 and gtx 960 and It was giving me more fps comparing to my new build. I was doing a lot of research, but unfortunately I couldn't locate the problem on why this is happening and what is causing it hope someone help me out here I'm pretty upset to be honsest i spent so much money on this build and took me hours to set everything up. I built it myself I don't know if thats the problem or what hopefully someone will point me to the right direction. Thank you in advance!

the power supply is a good brand. make sure your mb has the newest bios on it. fro mamd download the newest chipset drivers for the mb. check the ram speed. see if it defaulted to 2400 speed. with the 3200 ram i seen people get it to 29xx with 1.3v use hardware info see that during games all your cores are running fine. use msi afterburner make sure the gpu fans are working and the gpu is not thermal throttling.

I just checked and the bios that I have are few months old should I update it ? Also i had the problem of having 2400 speed, but i fixed it now its running on 3200 and When I play and stream everything seems to be running just fine even low temp.

It's really low for 1080 I'm sure I did the real life engine test thing and the results were almost the same as the other 1080s just 15-20 differences. I was just expecting more just because i had gtx 960 and for example I used to get at least 150fps playing counter strike and other different games, but now the highest fps that I've gotten was 100. Really confused I would try to update the bios maybe that would help i really hope it would help me out. Thank you my man

Run 3DMArk Fire Strike and post the result link.

What do you think I need to do ? what settings should i change

The CPU isn't boasting as high as it should.

Set everything to defaults in the bios and run it again.
