Hey all. I’m trying to build a new PC after being out for a bit. Only 2 games I’m really interested in is WoW and Tarkov. I’m kinda on a budget so I wanted to know if this build I put together would be enough for 2k 60fps? https://pcpartpicker.com/list/b7LTh3 And if anyone would change anything? Thanks for any input

AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 4.7 GHz 6-Core Processor
NZXT Kraken Elite 360 RGB 78.02 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
NZXT N7 B650E ATX AM5 Motherboard
G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 Memory
Samsung 980 Pro 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive
Gigabyte GAMING OC Radeon RX 7800 XT 16 GB Video Card
NZXT C850 (2022) 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

I haven’t picked a case yet and I’ll probably pick up more RAM I’ve never used AMD before but it seems cheaper and I been hearing decent things about them but WoW uses RAY Tracing now it’s not a huge deal but I like the game to look good lol, I heard Tarkov can be a pain to run properly/smoothly so I’m just hoping for the best

Someone loves NZXT. 🙄

And if anyone would change anything?
IF you go with white PC case, might as well make your PC white as well. E.g this nice clean white looking build:

Most of the changes are to get black parts into white ones. Hence the small price increase as well (eyecandy, after all, costs something). :)

Notable changes:
SSD - For the exact same price, you can get 990 Pro, which is better (faster) that 980 Pro,
comparison: https://ssd.userbenchmark.com/Compa...g-990-Pro-NVMe-PCIe-M2-2TB/m1454302vsm1961729
RAM - Same 2x 16GB kit but 6400 MT/s rather than 6000 MT/s. Also cheaper too.
GPU - 40 extra bucks to complete the clean white look. Else-ways, the black GPU would ruin the otherwise clean, white theme and would stick out like a sore thumb.
PSU - Since PSU sits behind MoBo tray, it isn't visible. Also cheaper than NZXT unit but still solid quality unit. But if you're adamant on getting everything white, then for PSU, Corsair RM750 White, pcpp: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/R4...-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-cp-9020231-na
AIO and MoBo are also replaced but with their white counterparts.

Take this build as a guideline, IF you want white build inside white PC case.

Btw, RX 7800 XT can do fine 60+ FPS on 1440p;

But if you enable Ray Tracing - not so much;

For about the same price you could get a significantly faster video card and setup: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/

You could also get a 7900 GRE and just save yourself a lot of money. Generally it will be a better choice than the 7800XT and should be worth the extra cost.

The AIO you picked is not only overkill, but extremely expensive for what you're getting. If you want an AIO then the Arctic LFIII is going to be the best bet for AMD price v perf.

Here are some other DRAM options:
G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB 48 GB (2 x 24 GB) DDR5-6400 CL32 Memory
G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory
G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory

For cooling since you say you’re on a budget have you considered one of the Thermalright air coolers? For example you can get the peerless assassin 120se in white with rgb fans on amazon for about 35 bucks. I’m using one on my 12600kf and I’m happy with it. Might be worth checking then you could open the budget a bit more for a better gpu like the 7900gre as suggested.

A reasonable build.
--------Except for the cooler.
Paying more for a cooler than the processor does not sit well with me.
You can buy the top noctua NH-D15s for half the price.
It will run quieter and last indefinitely.
A aio cooler will need replacement in perhaps 5 years.
