New Gaming PC... Upgrade or Rebuild?

I've got a nice PC built about 8 months ago. That computer set me back by about 1200$. Should I keep the PC and upgrade it? or should i sell it and buy the new one? How much could i sell the old PC for? Also, how is my new build? Sorry for all of my questions

CPU doesnt need upgraded, not worth the performance increase if you have old one already. The GPU can be upgraded if you want but may be overkill

I know the CPU doesn't "need" an upgrade, but if i kept it, I lost the ability to sell the old computer whole, which would be the easiest way. Also, I am getting a new 1440p 144hz monitor, so the 1080 strix will be useful

Not worth the money spent. Just get the 1080 and the monitor you want.
