Hello, I need some tips to my new gaming PC. I got a build atm, so I hope I can get some feedback on it.

CPU: Intel Core i5 4690K
Motherboard: Asus z97-a
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D14
Video card: ASUS Geforce GTX 970
Storage: 2TB (don't know which) and I think a Samsung EVO 120Gb SSD
Memory: NOT sure, hope I can get some help, I want 16Gb, but not that expencive.
Case: Fractal Design Define R5
Power supply: Corsair 750W

I'm kinda new into this, but I hope it's a decent build. Please help!

If your just gaming for the most part you only need 8gb. The samsung evo 120 is good and a Seagate 2T Barracuda is a good drive:

8 gb of 1600mhz DDR3 is plenty for gaming. (Make sure you get it as 2 x 4GB for dual channel)
The rest of the build looks good, just make sure you understand about the gtx 970 memory issues. I am not saying it's not a good card for the money, but be aware that only 3.5gb of the 4gb of memory is really high speed. This doesn't matter for 1080p gaming at all.

okay, so it's worth it? Cause I think the 980 is a bit too expencive. The prices here are different compared to your country, I live in Norway.

The CM hyper 212 Evo keeps the new devils canyon chip cool enough at stock, but it doesn't leave much headroom for overclocking. I would suggest the noctua or a nice all in one. I was overclocking my brothers devils canyon and he only had a cm hyper 212 evo and stock it would hit 80+ in prime. I have seen people posting similar temps on here also.

With the recent drop in prices I would go with the r9 290x.
Gigabyte windforce version for 300$

The only downside compared to the gtx 970 is it uses more power, and runs warmer. However, it has 4Gb of ram and a 512mb memory interface. Also supports freesync I believe.

The Noctua NH-D14 is better than the CM Hyper 212 Evo. If you can afford it, I would get it. From what I have heard, it is very quiet and cools your CPU better than all-in-one liquid coolers. :D

I agree, I own the NH-d14 it's super quiet and beats out most all in one liquid coolers. I believe there is an update from Noctua the NH-d15 . I imagine it only improves upon the d14.

I am running ivy bridge i5-3570k@4.7ghz . I forget exact prime95 temps it's been so long, but I don't remember passing 70c .
