New gaming pc

Hi, looking to build a new pc. These are the specs:
Gtx 1070 strix
I7 7700k
Hyperx fury 16gb 2133mhz ram
Evga supernova g2 650w psu
1 tb hdd
250 gb ssd samsung 850 evo
Msi z270 a pro mobo
Cryorig H7 cpu cooler
Define r5 chassi
Any comments or recommendations are much appreciated! is the cpu cooler good ? Heard its better than the 212 evo. Thanks in advance

Faster ram isn't necessary as you don't see that big of a performance increase as explained by Linus in this video: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=D_Yt4vSZKVk your build is also great, nothing to Change especially with how high prices are right now

I have the H5 Universal. It's nice cuz it has a slimmer fan and gives more clearance in case you wanted to have 4 sticks of RAM. It lets me hit 4.7GHz on my 7700k and I don't need more.

yes. Though I'll still go for 2400mhz since its only 5€ more expensive than the 2133mhz

Very helpful! What temps do you get at full load ?

Temps are pushing 80C. I really feel that is too much but usually it is running slightly less. You may have better luck though. My case isn't the best for air flow. I think the H5 is good for slight overclock like 4.6/4.7. Anymore I'd get a AIO.

Decided to go for the phanteks p400. Its got good airflow I think ? Would the ultimate be better than the universal ? By how much if so ? Thanks!

I haven't seen a head to head comparison, but according to Cyrorig's website..The Ultimate has better airflow. Universal is 65cfm vs Ultimate 76cfm. The Ultimate will push more air. And seems to be about same for noise. I can't hear my H5 Universal...my noise all comes from GPU.

btw, there is a P400 called the "P400 S". It costs around $25 more cuz it adds it noise dampening foam. However, I'm not sure it is worth it.

I'd say if youre ever going to consider adding more ram & filling the ram slots go for the universal .
It offers zero ram interference because its offset from the CPU socket.

Fro what I've seen there's only 3c or so between them.

No I think I'm fine. After alot of research I've decided to go with the following specs:
Msi z270a pro mobo
Gigabyte gtx 1070
I7 7700k
Cryorig h5 ultimate
16gb of 2x8 hyperx fury 2400mhz ram
Phanteks eclipse p400 tempered glass.
Evga supernova g2 650w psu
1 tb hdd
250 gb ssd samsung 850 evo
Corsair HD120 RGB chassi fan.
Any comments or further inputs ? Thanks
