Hello, as the title suggest i wanna build a new rig which will last, now im in the dilemma of either going with 75hz 1060 or 144hz 1070. my budget was 1100-1200, now its 1300, and idk if its worth going for the 1070
im planning on OC on the cpu btw
so current thoughts on rig
ryzen 5 1600
gtx 1060/1070
dell 27 75hz ips 6ms (GtG) / samsung 144hz va 1ms (mprt)
asrock pro4
aerocool 800
either 8gb 3ghz ram or 16gb gskill
seasonic 520w
1tb WD and ssd afterwards
I live in greece (ksanthi/xanthi or ξανθη if u want to copy paste it) and i want to build it on my own ( so much pleasure on this), so i dont care if i buy it from multiple shops. Heres a site that lists most of the shops with their price: www.skroutz.gr

Your part selections look fine and most of it should be good for 6 years.
You will probably hold onto your monitor a long time (your next PC too) so get the best one you can now.

But I have never seen a video card that will still be good 6 years later.
The games keep getting more demanding so fast that I am planning on replacing my 1070 in 2 or 3 years.

6 years?, you want a i7 8700k build with a gtx 1080 TI
and a 1080p monitor

an aerocool power supply will last you a year if you are lucky
