This will be the second rig I have ever built, first one being back in 2009. I use to do a lot of folding and chess analysis, but now-a-days this rig will be used for little more than gaming. The part that I'm not convinced on is the GPU. I have the money to splurge on a 780 or even a 780 TI, but doing so would be more for a long term outlook as I'm currently only gaming at 1080p and don't plan on upgrading the monitor until after this is built and I buy a bigger desk (currently using a slab of wood with 4 pegs from IKEA, haha). Thoughts? Thank you!
EDIT: I guess I should list some games I play consistently: League of Legends, D3, Path of Exile, Rome II Total War, Civ 5. Plan to build this on or around Black Friday.
