New gaming rig question

Hi all
I am going to buy a new gaming rig.
I am pretty sure about the components, they are as following:

-Antec nine hundred
-Core 2 Quad Q9550
-OCZ 4 gig ddr2-800
-LG dvd-writer
-Coolermaster 620w
-Western digital 640 gig
-Asus P5Q-Pro

I think i am going to get the HD4870 1 gig OC.
I am going to play at the resolution 1680x1050, will this card be fine then?
the games i am going to play, are games like farcry 2, crysis, gta4, and all that new stuff.

Please tell me what you think of this rig, and what has to change about it 😉

Yes, it will play just fine. I use the 4850 on that resolution and it's plenty.

Anything that comes out is way overpriced for several months. If you don't care about the price, then go for it.

Don't get the Coolermaster PSU, get Corsair TX650 or HX620.

I have a hd3850 now, I can put that card into my new rig, and when the new ati cards are coming out, then i buy a new ati card, would that be a good solution?
And will i get performance with that hd3850? right, now, i play at a resolution of 1280x960

The Antec TP-650 would work well too. But go for the HAF case 😉

your 3850 will probably be ok for that resolution, but once you get a bigger monitor you will have to upgrade.

+1 to theAnimal, most coolermaster PSU's are garbage, save for the Real Power Pro series >750w. Corsair 550vx or 650tx would do quite well for you.
