I am building a new gaming computer and I am going to buy it after 2 days, so I need some advice about it. Secondly, I will buy the corsair vengeance 16GB (2x8gb). I saw DDR3 and another one which is DDR3 PC3 12800, what is the difference between them? And which one is better for me? Because the PC3 12800 has discount.

Build:
Case: Cooler Master HAF X RC-942 = 200$
Motherboard: ASUS Maximus V Formula LGA 1155 intel Z77 = 300$
CPU (Processer): Intel Core i7 3770k ivy bridge = 330$
Memory (RAM): Corsair vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 = 125$
Video Card: ASUS GTX660 Ti ( But I don't know whether I buy 3GB or 2GB is enough) = 310$ - 340$
Power supply: CORSAIR HX series HX850 850W = 170$ what's the difference between HX850 series and AX850?
Optical Drive: ASUS Black 12x BD-ROM 16x DVD-ROM 48X CD-ROM Blu-ray =60$
Hard drive: Seagate SV35 Series ST1000VX000 1TB 7200 rpm 64MB cache=110$
Cooling: CORSAIR hydro series H90 water cooler = 100$

Subtotal: 1730$
Shipping: 140$
Total: 1870$

Hi and welcome to Toms forums , hope you find answers to all your questions.

The ram that you listed DDR3 pc3 12800 is 1600MHZ RAM and the 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 for $125 is also 1600mhz ram so it is the same.

It would help if you gave some more detailed information and links to the ram that your looking at so as to not make a mistake that were looking at different sets of ram.
