Everything should be just fine there, it'll definitely run GW2 at high at 1200p.

P.S

Yaks Bend FTW ^_^

Hi, I have a build for you that is $800 with the OS Included. As for places where you should buy I recommend newegg.com or amazon.com. If you want to buy in a store than try tigerdirect.

This is a complete AMD System, Good Cpu Cooler, Runs your games at your resolution @ 60fps and above, Also if you do ever decide to livestream or make videos this will be a perfect system with the 8 cores it has.

Haha!

Thanks for the input buddy! Anyone else want to chime in?

This is a terrible option, I'm sorry.

the CPU is junk. AMD said this themselves.
The motherboard is VERY low and and uses a 5 year old chipset.
That PSU is overpriced and the company that makes it went bankrupt.

Thanks for the info! I have been putting a list of some parts together. What do you think a reasonable build would be? Thanks!

Technically the g.skill is faster but by no noticeable amount to the human eye and you have to manually overclock it. It will not just automatically run at 2400.

Don't let RAM speeds affect your entire build choice. They do not really matter in the grand scheme of things.

I recently changed from 1333mhz to 2133mhz RAM because it was given to me for free and I can tell no difference at all. Even synthetic benchmarks barely show much of a difference. Faster RAM only really matters with integrated graphics.

I was just curious. I know RAM speeds aren't really going to play a big difference. These are both great builds. Love the windows 7 that you threw in there. I can not stand windows 8.

Very interesting! Sounds like the compatibility issues I was hearing about have been resolved. just took a little time! Thanks!

Would it be better to run the AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz 8-Core Processor or the 6 core that was posted?

So I could run your build that you posts and just swap out the processor with the 8320 and be OK?

For Him I think the 8320 is fine, the 760 and r9 270x don't have much difference. Although you do get the 2 free games with the 760 rather than a glitched battlefield 4 with the r9 270x. I would recommend the r9 270x because I personally have one, and it performs REALLY good.
