Originally I was going to spend about $1000 in december but the plan has changed and I am able to make my machine now. I have everything picked out I just wanted to run it through you guys and listen to ur opinion. I currently have an OEM version of windows 7, and I know that you can only use it on the same motherboard. I heard that you could call Microsoft and tell them that your mobo went bad and they will give you another key. Here is what I was thinking:
CPU: intel i5 3570k
MOBO: asrock z77 extreme4
GPU: EVGA GTX 680 FTW 4gb
PSU: Corsair AX1200
RAM:G.SKILL 8gb (2x4gb) DDR3 1600
CASE: COOLER MASTER haf x
Thanks for all the help in advance!
B.T.W. I know that more VRAM doesn't improve performance, but I play skyrim and I am planning to have tons of graphically improving mods, so 4gb will let me display more at once.
