Approximate Purchase Date: 7-14 days from post

Budget Range: £1200 / 2000 Dollars

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, Video editing, Video Recording, Livestreaming, General office work

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: www.ebuyer.com www.scan.co.uk www.pcspecialist.com

Country of Origin: England

Parts Preferences: Intel Processor, Nvidia GPU

Overclocking: Yes

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe later on so I want an up to date GPU

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080, 1920x1200

Additional Comments: I'm buying a new system in about 7-14 days and have a £1250 budget including a monitor and alot of hdd space.

I'll be using it for recording games, watching movies, live streaming games and video editing.
A few examples of games are BF3, Skyrim, SC2, Deus Ex etc. etc.

I've been looking at ebuyer but to be honest in terms of the techy stuff and different types of gpu's that are overclocked or have more cores so I've came here for some help.

What I do know is I'm pretty sure I want 8gb+ram, 2600k, 570 OC to 580 standards. besides that I'm open to anything as long as I can fraps and livestream with good frame rates and be able to render and good speeds. I'm also taking a games design course so I'll be rendering quite alot of things.
Sites I've been looking at include: scan.co.uk ebuyer.com overclockers.co.uk - I'm not sure if they all have finance options but I know ebuyer and scan do so preferably them, been debating pcspecialist as well If It's a good deal because their finance options are good.

Thanks for reading and hope you can help me

I just used ebuyer, so you may want to do comparison shopping.

I left the monitor to you.

Id probably just drop the i7-2600k for an i5-2500k and drop a 60GB SSD in there.

Also, is 520w enough for a 570? I usually see 550-600w+ recommended

SeaGate 2TB could also be switched for SeaGate Barracuda 1TB or SpinPoint F3 1TB at just £40 to save some money.

I put the led fan just because I'd like it to look nice :) also is there any similar cases that will be as cool that have a side window, always liked the idea of having one of those. Will this ram be fast enough?

Thanks so much by the way, taking time out of your own days to help people you don't even know :)

done, I like having multiple hardrives too, makes it easier to organise stuff. Thanks! :D

thinking about a larger ssd with the extra money, is there any really nice ones that will make much of a difference? also i know barely anything about them other than how much faster they are, do you install just windows and games on them?

You can always just use a RAID0 set up if you wish to have just one huge storage space.

Check out TOMs August Review for SSD's - it should give you a better idea of whats available :) http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/ssd-solid-state-nand-reliability,review-32260.html

Something like the 128GB Crucial M4 or OCZ Vertex 3 would be great if it fits into your budget. You would be able to shove the OS, probably all your Applications and some Games on there aswell.

think I'm finished, going to order in about 4-5 hours just incase someone finds a good deal or something wrong with it. Thanks again everyone, You'll probably see me back here in a few days when it comes asking more questions :)

I don't think any reviews have been done on the TPX-575M from Thermaltake. It's made by the same company, CWT, as the 775W version that did get excellent reviews. It's a gamble but probably not a big one.

Just remember that at least half of the PSUs Tt sells are junk, and most of the rest are overpriced. It's rare to find one to recommend for that reason.

The Toughpower XT 575 is not overpriced on ebuyer atm.
