New GFX and graphics is worse then before

Hi!

I had a old DELL Inspiron 1720 hooked up via VGA to a TV screen, a FINLUX. Now I bought a new computer with a MD Radeon HD 8470 Graphics / 2 GB via HDMI .. and the graphics is actually worse. I can hardly read text on websites and in games anymore!

Can the new GFX card be too good for the screen, or what can cuase this?

are you running at the same resolution before as you are now, and have you checked the games settings and tried to improve them.
