Hey guys,
I'm not uber-good with computers, but I was knowledgeable enough to build my own last summer. I just upgraded to an MSI GTX970 GPU, and it's whisper quiet - no coil whine like the horror stories that I've read online.
I'm having a separate problem though. I have a SSD with my OS on it, and a WD Black 1TB HDD for everything else. The latter is no longer being recognized by my BIOS. I checked all the cables and nothing came loose. When booting into the OS using my SSD, it takes over twice as long to log in now. Halp?
I've read that it's a possibility of the PSU not being able to power everything. I have an Antec HCG-620, which was able to handle my Gigabyte GTX 760 just fine. Could the PSU's efficiency be a possibility?
I want to make sure I can make the best decision I can without having to buy parts that end up not fixing my problem.
