Hi,

I am fairly new to the forum and I hope I can provide you the clear information in order to fix my doubts and current issues.

I have got a Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 Rev. 4.0 Motherboard but it won’t beep nor boot, display video (my GPU fans don’t even starts).
I have try to check everything, plugs, standoff and if every component have been properly sitting on the MOBO.
Finally, after no beep or boot, I took off the GPU and try to turn it on with 1 RAM at the time on each Slot looking forward to listen the beep for no GPU found on the MOBO, but nothing happened. Then I proceed to took off all the RAMs to check if I get error beep and it did, confirming that no RAM have been found.

After this I am kind of lost where I am standing on, everything is new (hoping everything is functional too) and not having a way to even take a look into the BIOS since no video is displayed when the RAMs are installed.

Here is a list of the components I got:
CPU: AMD FX-8320 (is working as a friend put it on his RIG an it was working)
MOBO: Mentioned Gigabyte, Rev 4.0
RAMs: 2x Kingston Fury HyperX, 4GB each
PSU: Corsair TX850w
GPU: GIGABYTE Radeon R9 270

Please let me know your kind comments and thoughts on this, also if further information is needed to troubleshoot this issue.

PD: I haven’t been able to update the BIOS neither.

Best regards,
Omar

Sorry for your troubles, just finished my system today and fired it up. Your post has the same issues I am having. Working the steps, completed all Troubleshooting Steps listed in manual. Have a Ticket open with Gigabyte, but do not wish to send the board. Purchased the AMD 8350 on sale last year and finally got around to upgrading my system. Will keep you posted. Some good feedback from other members. But will not boot...cannot update BIOS.
Need system for get ready for classes.

Hi, here is an update. I tried to use my Kingston Fury HyperX (1866) memory modules on a friend’s PC and it did not boot, neither any beep at all, same issue with a PC that boots normally.
Too bad I got these memories on April, and the return period with *m*z*n (not sure If I could mention them here) already passed, but since I needed to put all the parts together I did not had a way to test them till now.
I am currently placing a warranty claim to Kingston in order to check if there is possible to get a refund or replacement, or any viable options for them and me, as these modules are supposed to get lifetime warranty according to their web.
Too bad I don’t count with an immediate solution because I am more than impatience to start using and gamming on my PC.

Was wondering if you ever got your PC running. Having same problem with same cpu, motherboard and ram(1600). Weird thing is all the fans spin up but no bios beeps even with ram pulled. If I put a FX 4300 in, cpu fan won't spin unless I use a fan with 3 pin instead of 4 and I get bios beeps for memory pulled. I've sent board back to gigabyte 4 times now and still no luck. Can't figure out whats going on.
