Hello
I am thinking of changeing my acer aspire x1935 current craphics card nvidia geforce 605 for Gigabyte GeForce GT710 2GB GDDR3

Acer Aspire x1935 DT.SJMEQ.003
Motherboard Intel B75
Intel Core i3 (3,3 GHz)2120
Hard drive 500 GB HDD
Ram 6gb DDR3 1333Mhz
Graphics card Nividia Geforce 605 1024 mb
Power unit 220-240w
Windows 7 64bit

Would it work?

Solution
@abanghasan:
the 605 (25W) needs even more power than the 710 (19W)

the gt710 will run in this system, if the BIOS will recognize it. Eventually you can do an update to the latest BIOS version before replacing the graphics card.

What you wanna accomplish with the upgrade? Like said before, the 710 is low end and won´t improve performance much in games.
it would not be work bro.. because gt710 is a low end vga, minimum power supply is 300w and yours is 220 - 270w, , i susggest you to change your power supply, and your pc case also have space to install that graphic card the only problem to solve is your power unit, according to my experience when we want to upgrade a new graphic card , have to ensure 3 important point, first is our pc case space it is enough for new graphic car, the second is power consumption its vga, if your power supply cant afford , so u have to upgrade a new one. the third is your motherboard have the supported slot for new vga.
