Hello, I am upgrading my GPU currently since I am using 1050 TI and it's painful for gaming in current games.
The choice is between 3090 and 5700 XT - Nothing between, please don't suggest anything else.
Is the 5700 XT good enough for gaming on one monitor and doing other things on two different monitors? I am kinda tired of lags or low FPS in games.

That being said, there comes also 3090.
I am using all three monitors with 1080p - 144 Hz

Budget doesn't matter right now, it's just if it's worth it or if the 5700 XT will keep me on or above 144 FPS

PC :

CPU : Radeon 3700X
Motherboard : Asus Prime 570x-Pro
Cooler : Kraken X73 water cooling
Ram - 2x 8GB G.Skill Trident.Z
PSU : Kinda forgot, but it's Seasonic GOLD either 500 or 600W

Solution
The RTX3090 isn't a good "bang-for-the-buck" gaming card. Especially for 1080p. Waste of money.

The 5700XT is plenty capable of 1080p 144Hz gaming. Difficult to extrapolate all the way back to a 1050Ti, but you're looking at nearly a 4x improvement in FPS going to a 5700XT.

The 3090 is nearly 4x the MSRP of the 5700XT. Not a very "apples-to-apples" comparison.

Why can't we suggest any other GPUs between the two you listed? (RTX3060Ti for example)

That was fast answer, appreciate it.

Sadly, I've only the choice between these two, cuz I have discount for them, nothing else. :/

That being said, I believe the 3090 may be really an overkill and waste of money. So I hope 5700XT may be good enough, never been a user of AMD GPU's

Wouldn't hurt to mention actual pricing. Especially if there are suddenly more options closer to 5700XT levels of performance. Then we can advise on price/performance.

Those are quite outdated. Nowadays a 5700xt goes pretty much the same as the 2070s fps wise (in few instances even beating it). That card despite a rocky launch due to bad drivers, aged like fine wine. The 5700xt was (before the prices would hike up like crazy) a very viable option for 1440p gaming. Good luck finding one at MSRP nowadays tho. The few I've seen go for around 7/800 dollars, and at that price, they simply aren't worth (it's still a better card than the 3060 tho).
