Hey guys!! i have been saving up 500euros the past year (university student so 500euros is big deal for me 😛 ) and i will upgrade my pc. you can see my pc specs in my signature but my cpu is an i5-4690k, mobo asus maximus vii ranger, gpu r9 280x vaporx, psu corsair cx-750m.
i have a crappy monitor so the monitor is a sure buy, i was thinking 200 for the monitor and 300 for the gpu. my thoughts are:
Asus VX248H for 185euros
Gigabyte Radeon RX 480 8GB 300euros
what do you think about these two and what are your recomendations as to how i can spent my money. i have to tell you that i cant go higher than 500euros no matter what... so try to stick with this budget. thanks in advance

If you are going to get a new monitor and an AMD GPU I think you would have to consider taking advantage of AMD Freesync by getting a freesync compatible monitor.

As a gamer your goal should be to get the smoothest and fastest framerates possible with no log or stutter. A good FreeSync monitor will allow you to obtain that.

I recommend the Nixeus Vue 24A:
https://www.pcper.com/reviews/Displays/Nixeus-Vue-24-1080P-144Hz-TN-30-144Hz-FreeSync-Monitor-Review

It is one of the highest rated FreeSync monitors as it has one of the largest refresh ranges (30Hz to 144Hz)

If you have any questions about FreeSync please let me know.

unfortunately this monitor is not being sold in my country and also is a bit expensive if i get it online...
do you think i should spent more money on the monitor than the new gpu?
i did a research in freesync monitors. what about the AOC G2460VQ6? i can find it for 170euros in my country
