These are my Specs;

CPU: Intel Core i3 Dual-Core Processor 3.1 GHz 3 MB Cache

Hard Drive: 250GB, 7200 RPM, 16MB Cache

Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-H61M-DS2 LGA 1155 Intel H61 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

RAM: 8GB (2x4) 1600MHz

PSU: Corsair CX600

I always use my 2GB AMD Radeon HD 7700 GPU in my computer and that thing works fine, I've been using it for about a year and wanted to upgrade. I got a HIS 7870 IceQ 2 GB GDDR5 (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B007HYIRES/?tag=pcpapi-20) and when I try to plug it in and use it, I get no Post Beeps or Display. All the Fans and Lights are on though.

Things I've tried;
Uninstalling my HD 7700 Drivers and trying the HIS
Unplugging the PCI E cables from the HIS and starting the PC (That gave me a Post Beep)
Returning the HIS in exchange for a new one (This is the 2nd one)

Make sure your PCI plug (8 or 4 pin) is plugged into your mobo as well as your GPU snug. Attempt to reseat your GPU as well just to be safe. Test with 1 RAM stick in a DIMM slot and let us know what happens.

These issues are likely to be a RAM issue so try 1 RAM stick and if it doesnt work with one DIMM slot try to swap RAM sticks and change which DIMM slot you test it with.

I do have another GPU to test on that slot and the other GPU works fine. I'm using it right now. (The HD 7700) I'm not sure if an onboard display exists with my Motherboard because I use an HDMI cable and my Motherboard does not have a slot for HDMI.

I was wondering if maybe I had to reset something in the BIOS but most of my settings are set to Automatic, however I do not know what to switch. I used to use a GPU that was 6 Pin and now this new one is 12 Pin (2 sets of 6 Pins) and I'm pretty sure my PSU reaches far beyond the requirements. The HIS demands 500W and mine is 600W, I got the PSU just today.

Go onto Gigabyte support site download the manual to your mobo, and download and extract the bios ROM onto a flash drive. Follow the manual instructions for updating the bios.
