Hello THW,

Yesterday i bought a new GPU and when i went to install the GPU it kept crashing my computer on bootup, therefore i put my old GPU back in the pc and uninstalled the OLD Graphics card drivers that were on the pc already, i put the new GPU back into my system and it worked and i thought all was fine as i was playing games such as GTA, Rust and PUBG in ultra perfectly untill today when it randomly crashed again giving me a BSOD when i started it back up,after that BSOD i tried starting my PC up again and it just wouldnt work properly as windows would not load, I have got the GPU working again now though but i am not sure if it is stable or not, Any idea why it could be crashing?

Edit: Also i forgot to mention that it went into a boot loop at one point after crashing my pc

PC specs

I7 4790
Gigabyte H81M-H
Gigabyte Auros GTX 1080
Corsair CX600 PSU

Solution
go to bios and make any change and change it back. it will force the bios to rescan the hardware and rebuild the database of used hardware settings that it provides to windows. failing to do this can result in windows using alternative hardware settings for your newly found hardware. Some hardware resources are very limited and drivers crash when they can not get proper access to hardware resources.
