New gpu, computer won't start. Took out gpu, still no start.

When I press the power button nothing happens. No beeps no nothing.

I assembled my rig 5 years ago, power connections were a bit janky but it worked.

Went to update my gpu to something new, and power button did nothing.
I took the new gpu out to try booting without it. Still nothing.

Motherboard light comes on saying it has power. But nothing else works now.

Try moving the ram stick to slot 1. Also i have to say, based on your photo, all the dust and lint in your computer may be causing some bad connections. You should blow it out.

Seems there was a short somewhere when I replaced gpu. had to get new mobo, and new CPU with it. Dust regularly kids
