The problem i have is that my recently installed Nvidia GTX 1070Ti GPU (1 day ago) crashes my PC when i load up games. I'm rubbish with knowledge and installation of pc's and its parts but i come to the impression that it may be my PSU's power? Any Help?

Processor: intel core i7-6700k

GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070 Ti

PSU: ATX Switching PS Model: ATX-500B (500 Watts I think)

8GB RAM

PS, my GPU is an 8 pin, and i had two 4 pins so i had to buy an adaptor to power my GPU. Also i uninstalled all drivers and reinstalled them before putting in my new GPU and updated them after.

Sorry if this is badly written or explained :/ thanks :)

not the adapter. your psu is old and not support new gpu
Hi again. Just installed a 650w corsair PSU and im running into the same problems... I had an error message on one of my games saying "a GPU crash was detected previously" any fix for this or is this down to a problem with the GPU i have?
