New gpu - fans starts then stop , starts stop start stop No display

I have rx 570 about 2 days and i try everything to make it work with my build
When i plug in the gpu and connect the 8 pin(my psu doesnt have pci 8pin so i buy molex splitter pci 8 pin) then i start the pc and i got no display and my gpu fans starts and stop for a about miliseconds and make a noise like tik tik tik from fans starting every second .
Psu 500watt
gpu amd rx570 4gb nitro with 8 & 6pin power
My psu doesnt have pci connectot and i have a molex splitter 8 pin only connected as it says on box of gpu 6pin is optional .

So you have just the 8pin plugged in via molex? I would suspect that your PSU isnt able to handle the amount of power neede via the molex... I highly recommend that you buy a decent 500+ Watt PSU with dedicated 6+2 PIN for GPUs...

AMD A8-5600K
Yes my psu doesnt have 8pin . So i have 2 molex (adapter)splitter that comes with 8 pin output male .

The power supply must also be able to supply the correct amount of amperage.

Yeah i heard that today so i must find the gpu amp and watts an then buy psu . But im scared if the gpu burnt because fans start and stop fast. Or its my idea?

It's stopping perhaps because 1) Not enough power so it shuts down 2) Overheating and stopping to prevent damage

I am almost sure you need both 6 and 8 pin ports plugged in for power or they wouldn't put both on the board since adapters are cheap. My rx 580 only has 1 power port the 8 or 6 ( can't remember at this moment) so I am limited on how much power I can shove down it for over clocking 🙁 capped at about 1410 mhz on core up from (1266 though!)

Plug both the 6 and 8 pin ports in from separate rails off your PSU.

Had the same problem with my old GTX 960. I just modded the BIOS and gave the card a power target of 250 Watt. bumped the Speed from 1250 to nearly 1500mhz 😀 That was fun^^
