Hello!

I recently bought a brand new 1080GTX and slowly discovered that some games are starting to give me Blue Screens with the topical error (0x00000124).

My SPECS:

Win7
RAM: 16gb
GPU: 1080GTX
CPU: Intel 4770k
3 HDDs, 1 3TB and 2 1TBs (i dont remember their brands, but i am sure one is seagate).
PSU: C3 Tech DSA-5060V

After going through alot of troubleshooting (reinstalling and updating drivers, checking overheating, restoring BIOS), the error still persists.

So at this point i am pretty sure its a hardware problem.

Can you guys help me pinpoint my problem?

My PSU could handle the previous 680GTX and from what i read, the 1080GTX requires the same amount of wattage, so it should be ok, right?

have you tried uninstalling all your OC software? some may need a proper Cleaner software from your softwares site.
have you tried using DDU to clean your drivers in safe mode? and just try to boot without GPU drivers.

@marksavio

I have only installed OC software (Afterburner) after it started to BSoD (to check temperature), i have never OCed anything on this rig.

EDIT: will try your sugestion with DDU.

Sadly this didint helped.

Things I have tried so far:

Swapped RAM sticks with other sticks.
Bought new PSU (Corsair CX 750watts)
Reinstalled windows 7
Cleared CMOS and turned bios to default
Took the GPU out and placed it in an older PC, getting no crashes there.

I am running out of ideias, can someone please help me?
