I have bought a new gpu and after like 15 minutes of using it I get this weird screen tearing, you can see it here

The only fix I have is a temporary one which is to switch the pci slot on my mobo, but I have to do it every 15 minutes which is obviously an inconvenience.
I have the latest drivers, it isn't overclocked.
My mobo is an asus f2a85v, I have a dual core amd cpu and a 520w psu.

Woah that is weird. Be 200% sure that the graphics card is in the slot properly, the cables are plugged in properly and that your cables aren't broken in any place. When the graphics card was first in did It work properly until 15 minutes in?

Yes, it worked just fine, have tried it in games and such. I even switched pcie slots on my mobo, i will try with a new monitor or cables tomorrow. I forgot to mention that the gpu has 2 dvi outputs, I'm using only one but with a vga adaptor.

After all, I installed windows 7. I was surprised since after I installed the graphics driver in windows 7, there were no artefacts. BUT, then I used an Aero theme which proved to be the source of the artefacts. So basically if you disable aero you fix my problem.
