new gpu help

i have a single 1080p acer monitor.so should i go with a dual gpu setup?if yes then what gpu would you recommend from amd/nvdia(amd more suitable)also is 1080 resolution future proof or should i get a higher resolution monitor.4k is pretty expensive in my country though.

We don't know your budget but I think 1440P monitors are a good a good compromise between 4k and 1080P. In I prefer 1440P over 4k just because of how some software does not scale well in 4k yet.

Again it's really about budget, but I think gtx1070 is a good compromise sweet spot in performance as gtx1080 is a bit of a diminished return for your money.
