New GPU GTX1650 installed with 6pin power; works fine via Displayport.

BUT: At boot up, the PC won't start unless HDMI cable is ALSO plugged into iGPU HDMI port.
- PC keeps beeping every 5 seconds or so (and F2, F12, F8 keys not working)

With iGPU/HDMI connected, PC goes through initial bootup via the iGPU, and then display switches over to 4k Displayport and iGPU output goes gray.
After that Displayport output works even if I disconnect the HDMI cable from iGPU.
This happens with Windows as well as with Linux.

I would prefer not to have to disable iGPU (comes handy in emergencies)

Thanks!

Well, thank you gentle(wo)men for your valuable input.

I can confirm, for the benefit of other folks trying to use the same/similar graphics card on same/similar motherboard, that it works.

Just keep the iGPU port connected to a HDMI cable. The boot screens will go through the iGPU and the display will switch over to your new GPU within seconds of starting up. No reason not to use the newer cards.

Thanks again!!
