new gpu not working

i just bought gtx1050 gpu and installed it on my motherboard but it wont get past bios flash screen and i cant enter the bios to solve this motherboard is intel z77-ds3h i tried to reset cmos which did reset the bios but this didnt help i still have the same issue, i have had to remove the gpu to make this post using the onboard graphics atm is there any way to fix this issue or is it a faulty gpu

Maybe or maybe not.

1) what PSU did you have? if the PSU can't handle the gtx1050, then you can't boot the PC up.
2) Do you check your MB has newer version BIOS or not? if no, try update it, get the BIOS from gigabyte site. https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Motherboard/GA-Z77-DS3H-rev-10#ov
3) If you upgrade the gtx1050 from other GPU, you should try to use DDU to uninstall the GPU driver in safe mode, then switch to the gtx1050.

4) the gtx1050 may have problem, test it in other PC.
