Hey guys,

My GTS 250 512mb card recently died, and I'm looking to replace it with a GTX 460. The thing is, I have a old-ish Gateway mATX mobo, which is the G33M05G1. My question is: will the GPU break or something because of this low quality mobo? I plan on taking the 460 with me to my next PC.

I plan on buying the Asus GTX 460 DirectCU because it's the cheapest on Newegg with Mail-In Rebate.

HDD: Western Digital 640gb @ 7200Rpm

Don't know if that gpu will fit in your gateway case. You'll need to do some measurements, especially the length of the card. If it won't run on that old g33 board, I would sell the card or return it for credit. Your ps will probably have the connections you need, but check it anyway.
