Hello there. Long-tome reader, first time asker.
I have recently installed a new gpu (asus gtx 1060). It loads the system just before windows login pops up, and the screen goes black. Then I plug the dvi into the motherboard(Gigabyte GA-H87N-WIFI) and the rest of the pc experience continues from there.
When i try to go to bios while the gpu is plugged, the screen goes black.
I have read seemingly all the similar posts with no answer.
i have used another GPU to check bios to see the image output priority.
I have reistalled the GPU, and have tried disabling the onboard graphics.
I have both updated and reset bios.
Help me, Tomshardware, you're my only hope.
I really hope I'm missing something obvious here.
