Hi all, i'm stuck between whether to upgrade my CPU or GPU.
My current set-up is an AMD FX-6300 at 3.5ghz and a GTX 750ti.
I've been wanting to upgrade to an Intel CPU for a while but I also want to upgrade my GPU but cannot afford both so i'm wondering which would be best to buy first?

A better graphics card will give you better performance for the time being. A 380x would be a good pairing, as anything more (390/970) would require a substantial OC to not bottleneck. Pascal is not a good idea for a 6300 at all.
A better processor would allow for a much better upgrade later on though.
How long would it be before you could do the second upgrade? Anything long term would better benefit from a newer processor.

I could possibly buy the second after a month, maybe 2. Any recommendations for an Intel CPU around £200 and a GPU for around £250?

wait and get a r9 480 when it comes out we hear its going to be about as fast as a 390x
a 1070 is not going to benefit you if you keep your cpu
