Hey.
I recently bought a Sapphire Nitro R9 380 card and a new PSU (Seasonic S12II 520W) along with it which I see no problem in terms of power consumption. On my first unlikely tries of installing it on my own (in order to save money making others install what I though is an easy part) when I first unbox it, I can't make the video card to power up and I have no idea why. So I had no other choice but to go to a local repair person and it was properly installed and tested to work, with the new GPU and PSU plugged inside the tower. Now during these past few days, the same problem seems to be back again when I tried to install it on my own (video card does not power up) and I've noticed that the fan stops working and if I try to readjust the plug, the fan would power up for a few seconds then die afterwards.
Now my guess is this: the next time I boot my computer, I won't be able to power it up due to the video card not being properly plugged or there may be a problem with the wiring of the video card to the power supply, which I am not sure entirely or is it caused by another hardware problem.
Any help would be appreciated, and I just hope if next time I can power up my pc, the video card does work and only the fan is not working and you know the rest. What can I do with this? Thank you for your time reading this and cheers!
