Hello I have recently tried installing an new graphics card to my pc and the fans started up as normal on the CPU and on the GPU but there was no post what should I do I know the pcie works and that my new GPU is plugged in right but no post

Most motherboards should default to the graphics card if one is installed. But as you don't get a signal from the graphics card at the moment, consider reconnecting the display cable to the motherboard for the integrated graphics to work, enter BIOS and look for an option to prioritise the graphics card output; might be something like 'PEG'.

At the very least, see if you can boot to desktop with the graphics card installed but displaying through the integrated graphics (display cable connected to motherboard). Assuming you're using Windows, see if Device Manager sees an unknown display adapter (may even require 'show hidden devices'). We can get an idea if the graphics card is working to some extent then if the BIOS prioritisation doesn't work.
