Question new gpu problem

i just got a 1080 ti sc black edition gpu. i used DDC to uninstall the old drivers. i downloaded new drivers from the evga website. when i boot up everything works fine without the drivers installed, but after i install the new drivers, the screen gets all pixelated then a black screen forcing me to shut down. i have a 600 watt psu. what could be causing this?

try downloading the driver from the nvidia website.

if that doesn't work it isn't a good sign

could it be faulty? wouldnt it cause problems before installing a driver if that was the case?

i tried using the nvidia drivers, same thing happens.
